Nest of yarns
Finally wound my new batch of Quince & Co yarns (Finch) yarns into balls, ready to be knitted into socks of goodness.
It took two nights and four hands to wind the skeins into balls, which prompted my decision to invest in a proper swift and roller.
The milky white basket was made from the giant yarn bought at the Stitch Show I went with Min to earlier in the year. It was so thick i had to crochet it with my fingers but the finished basket is firm and sturdy and holds up really well. I originally wanted to use them for a giant doily experiment but I think that’s another project to be attempted on my list of to-do’s.
